What pay-per-call means for affiliates and advertisers
In pay-per-call, an advertiser pays for a phone call from a consumer instead of for a click. Each approved affiliate gets a dedicated tracking number for each offer, so every call is attributed to the traffic that produced it. A call is paid once it meets the offer's qualification rules, typically a minimum call length plus geo and schedule, and the payout, geo and rules are shown on every offer page.
CPA offers work the same way for online actions: a tracked click, then a sale, lead or sign-up reported back through the advertiser's postback or pixel. - What is pay-per-call?
- Pay-per-call is a performance model where an advertiser pays for a phone call from a consumer rather than for a click. On LeadsRefer each approved affiliate gets a dedicated tracking number for each offer. When a call meets the offer's qualification rules, typically a minimum call length plus geo and schedule, it is recorded and paid at the offer's per-call rate.
- How does affiliate approval work?
- Every affiliate application is reviewed by hand, and each offer has its own approval, so being approved on the network does not automatically give you every offer. When you apply to an offer you describe your traffic sources and creative.
- When and how do affiliates get paid?
- Payment terms are Net 15. Approved conversions become payable after that window and are paid by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer once your balance reaches the $50 minimum. Individual offers can set their own terms, which are shown on the offer page.
- What traffic sources are allowed?
- When you apply to an offer you choose your traffic methods, such as paid search, SEO, social, display, native, email or SMS, and each is reviewed for that offer. Email, SMS, call-center, sub-network and dialer traffic needs a written consent disclosure. Incentivized and fraudulent traffic is never permitted.
- How is fraud prevented?
- Every conversion is checked: one conversion per click, a minimum time between click and conversion, IP allow and block rules, geo and device targeting, and daily, weekly and monthly caps. Pay-per-call adds a repeat-caller check, and an offer can hold conversions for manual review before they become payable.
- Can I promote multiple verticals?
- Yes. Once you are approved on the network you can apply to individual offers in any live vertical (financial services, home services, insurance and software).
- How do advertisers pay?
- Advertisers apply and are reviewed by hand before any campaign goes live. They then either prepay a balance or buy on invoiced Net 15 terms within an approved credit limit.
- Is there a referral program?
- Approved affiliates get a personal referral link in their dashboard. Referral bonuses are not a fixed public rate, so contact us for the current terms.
