Confidentiality Policy

1. Why this policy exists

LeadsRefer connects advertisers with affiliates. Doing that well means sharing business information with each side: offer terms and payout rates with affiliates, traffic and performance details with advertisers. This policy explains how that information is handled, and it is the policy referred to in the confidentiality notice at the bottom of every email we send.

It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Personal data is covered by the Privacy Policy; this page covers business information.

2. What counts as confidential information

Confidential information is non-public information that LeadsRefer, an advertiser or an affiliate shares through the platform or in correspondence, including:

• Offer terms, payout rates, caps, hold periods and traffic or compliance requirements that are visible only to signed-in members.
• Advertiser identities, buyer details, call-routing and destination information, and campaign results.
• Personal tracking links, postback or API keys, and account credentials.
• Earnings, payout and billing information relating to an account.
• The contents of emails and messages sent by LeadsRefer, its staff or its affiliate managers, and any attachments.

3. What is not confidential

Information is not confidential under this policy if it:

• is already public, or becomes public without a breach of this policy, including what is published on our public pages;
• was already known to you, or is independently developed by you, without using confidential information; or
• is lawfully received from someone who is free to share it.

4. What we ask of affiliates, advertisers and partners

• Use confidential information only to take part in the LeadsRefer network.
• Do not share it with, or publish it to, third parties, including other networks, competitors and public forums, without our written permission.
• Share it internally only with people who need it to work on your LeadsRefer account, and make sure they follow this policy.
• Keep your sign-in details, tracking links and keys private. If you believe any of them has been exposed, tell us promptly so we can help secure the account.
• Do not use screenshots, exports or copies of offer details to promote, recruit for or compare against other programs.

5. How LeadsRefer handles your information

• We use the business information you give us to operate the platform: tracking, attribution, billing, payouts, support and fraud prevention.
• We show an advertiser’s offer details only to the affiliates the offer is made available to, and we do not show an affiliate’s other offers or earnings to another affiliate.
• We share information only with the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, where it is needed to run the platform, or where the law requires it.
• Access within LeadsRefer is limited to staff and managers who need it for their role.

6. Disclosure required by law

If you are required by law, regulation or a court order to disclose confidential information, please tell us first where you are allowed to, so that we can respond if we need to, and share only what is required.

7. Emails and the confidentiality notice

Every email sent from LeadsRefer carries a short confidentiality notice. If a message reaches you and you are not the person or company it was meant for, please delete it without reading further or sharing it, and let us know at admin@leadsrefer.com so we can correct the address.

8. How long this applies

These expectations apply while you hold an account and continue after it closes for as long as the information remains confidential.

9. If this policy is not followed

Sharing confidential information without permission may affect your access to the network. As set out in our Terms of Service, we may suspend or end an account, and we may withhold payouts where the Terms allow. We may also take other steps the law makes available to protect our advertisers and affiliates.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will tell members about material changes by email or a notice on the platform.
